Welcome to Embu Mart! By accessing or using our hyper-local directory platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Use. Please review them carefully.
1. Service Scope & Role
Embu Mart provides a direct, commission-free platform for residents to display listings. We act strictly as an informational bulletin board linking buyers and sellers directly over WhatsApp. We are not agents, distributors, brokers, or parties to any physical trades, inspections, or financial transactions.
2. Listing Criteria & Content
All users must represent listings accurately. Seedlings, crop yields, vehicles, property parcels, and local services must exist in Embu County. Listings containing fraudulent claims, stolen property, illegal inputs, or generic placeholders will be permanently deleted without notice.
3. Safe Trading & Liability
Users bear sole responsibility for their transaction safety. You must perform all product inspections in person, count yields, and verify vehicle logbooks in physical meetups before initiating payments. Embu Mart accepts no liability for loss, damage, or fraudulent behavior on or off-platform.
4. WhatsApp Conduct
Users must treat others with respect when initiating chats over WhatsApp. Spamming, harassing traders, or making fraudulent bids violates our community guidelines and will result in permanent phone number bans.
